Bowling with Neighbors October 30th 5:00 – 7:00pm

The Bowling with Neighbors event at the Neighbor to Neighbor mission will take place on Sunday October 30th from 5-7 PM.

This event will allow serve patrons soup out of bowls donated by local artist, by making a donation to Neighbor to Neighbor patrons will own the artworks. Neighbor to Neighbor is a local mission that is run by a staff that were (and some still are) either homeless and/or deeply impoverished. Every day, breakfast and lunch are served in Whitney Hall, feeding 150 hungry people on average. Other services include: on-site health care, seasonal clothing, hygiene supplies, showers, voicemail, job placement, addiction referrals, and more.

Bowling with Neighbors   is an event organized by Roberto Lugo, ceramic students at the Kansas City Art Institute and Revolution Church.  Artist have created one of a kind ceramic works for this event in order to support a local mission that is making a difference with Kansas City’s hungry.  The works exhibited represent artist nationwide from local Kansas city students to working ceramicist from around the country.
